Well no, nobody really knows if he raped her or not. I don’t know exactly what happened, and we never will. Now, I’m not defending him or saying there is no way he raped her. I’m saying I don’t know the truth. Of course when I heard about this I was upset. It’s disappointing to hear something like that about someone you look up to. BUT, I definitely was NOT one of those people that wanted him off the team, or wouldn’t wear his jersey anymore. I looked at it this way..I don’t know Ben Roethlisberger personally, I know him as the quarterback for my team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. So, to me, his job is to show up on the field and win games. Those mistakes he supposedly made were in his personal life, so that is his own problem, as long as it doesn’t affect his game.

Now, I think he is a different person than he was back then.  He says he’s changed. I mean, I have always loved Ben even though I thought he was sort of an arrogant asshole. But, I met him a couple months ago, and I completely changed my view of him. He was really, really sweet. So I’m hoping he really has changed for good.
