out of interest, why do you find that video so revolting?
I think it’s revolting that Rob Dyrdek is treating, exploiting, and marketing skateboarding like it’s an organized sport. Skateboarding shouldn’t be in stadiums where the skaters receive scores and with commentators on ESPN along with the Tim Tebow’s and Kobe Bryant’s. What’s next? The National American Skateboarding Association? To me that just strips away what’s so great about skateboarding. That’s why I got into it, because it was so different from the team sports with captains and coaches. It was an individual thing where you needed nothing but your board, and I hate that someone who claims to love skateboarding is taking away from that. That’s just the way I see it.
