That’s what love looks like.
That’s what love looks like.
Today I went to starbucks (bad whitney) to get a soy chai while samson and I were on our morning walk. Inside I saw officer Dickface who pulled me over Monday morning. I walked over to him and said, “Hello sir, do you remember me?” I didn’t give him a chance to answer “Because I’m the girl you pulled over the other day for going 35 in a school zone. I had no idea it was a school zone, seeing as I do not usually travel that road during school hours. Since the speed limit is generally 30 on evenings and weekends, I find it unfair that you gave me a ticket instead of a warning.” Officer Dickface begins to interrupt but I stop him. “Do not interrupt me. I am a full time student, work a part time job and volunteer two times a week. I am hardly a menace to society and I DEFINITELY can’t afford a $200 ticket. Thanks to you, more than a weeks worth of work will be paid to the city of Englewood, which makes it difficult for me to afford gas for my car to get to the job that I need in order to pay for my ticket. Aren’t you supposed to be a local hero? Because taking from the poor and giving to the rich hardly seems heroic to me. OH and by the way, I’m going to the park and I’m going to let my dog off his leash. You gonna give me a ticket for that too, Officer Dickface?”
(note: this was made up in my head after i saw officer dickface and left starbucks without saying a word).
Coolest bitch I (don’t) know
note: i only use bitch as a term of endearment. if i start calling you a mo-fuckin’ ass bag fuck face then you know you’re in trouble.
Currently: airport, beer, books.
There’s a woman at work who calls me Whitty.
I miss my mom a lot and I know I’m going to miss her more than usual the next few months. Our family traditions feel somewhat empty without her. Hard to believe this will be our third Door County trip, our third Thanksgiving, our third year of Christmas cookies, and our third Christmas morning without her. I used to be so afraid of forgetting her and now it just seems inevitable.
but then they call me Whitty
and I remember all that love.

I’d drive that beast.
Platypuses have always made me wonder… They’re like a combination between beavers and ducks, which is cool, yet hopelessly confusing.
