Sometimes I think that you have to really hate yourself in order to love someone else.
I mean, how else would you be able to knowingly let someone else hurt you so much? If you think about it…all the tears, all the pain, all the sadness and loneliness. Love is not much different from torture.
(Just to be fair, love also gives you many smiles, laughs and happiness.)
But still, we as human beings all look for this. All work hard to find it and keep it. I guess we’re only happy when we’re hurting.
….or maybe that’s just me.
