    I love that in Canadian society we’re reaching a point where Aboriginal Peoples and Youth are not only forcing engagement of non-Aboriginal peoples & government, but fighting to have our place in Canadian society and forcing that our issues be discussed.

    I love that we are taking these steps in an exciting and interesting way, through engaging the settler communities through our art, our politics and through sharing our culture and our perspectives.

    I love that we are all fighting to regain our cultural identities, that we are proud of our heritage and our cultures and that we are going forth with pride.

    I love being on social media and engaging with different Aboriginal peoples, mostly on Turtle Island and seeing the way we share ourselves and are engaging in discussions we were long barred from. 

    I just had to share this little idea, I hope people feel comfortable weighing in.

    BREAKING: Puppy Slays Dragon After Epic Battle

    In what witnesses are calling an epic beast vs. beast showdown, a puppy named Gracie defeated a fearsome dragon that threatened the suburbs of western Long Island on Monday.

    “It was terrifying,” says Bill Folsom, an area resident. “This pink dragon came out of nowhere. I thought we were doomed. Thank God for Gracie. She took that beast down.”
