Once again, Hanggai turned a packed live house into a torrent of joy and sweat with girls going crazy and men taking off their shirts, some doing some pogo while others danced across the room in a caterpillar sort of way.
Everytime I see them, I am amazed at the incredible energy and their professional showmanship… These guys have been touring the world for real and it definitely sets them on the highest of all standards when it comes to live music.
This was during the festival they organize in Beijing, 3 days of World Music in the best sense of the term : anyone playing good music, no matter where you come from.
Only one word to describe them and the whole festival: awesome.

My grandpa has Alzheimer’s so he has no idea who my grandma is but everyday for the last three or four months he brings her in flowers from their garden and asks her to run away with him and be his wife and everyday she says she already is and everyday the smile my grandpa gets on his face is the most beautiful heartfelt thing I have ever seen.
