Hm. I see your point.

But if you’re going to use “Chinamen”,  you should probably stop using “Indian” in your official name. You should probably call yourself the “National Congress of Native Americans”. “Indian”, after all, is insensitive, antiquated, a la “Oriental”.

Or is that too much hassle? Is all the time and effort to rebrand yourselves not worth the tradeoffs? Is there too much stationary with the old name? 

So you see their point. Tacit agreement then.
