So Radiohead announced dates. With ticket prices rumoured at £72
That’s not justifiable.
Muse’s latest stadium tour was £55 and included a gigantic triangular stage, a flashing LED suit, a chrome double-necked guitar, a platform that rose from the centre of the stadium like a UFO and three support bands.U2’s recent stadium tour was around £70 - £80 and included a gigantic 360 degree stage with absolutely huge screens placed in a circle all around the top of it.
Take That’s recent stadium tour was around £70 - £80 aswell and included a gigantic statue of a human and I imagine even more unbelievable things because that’s what happens on Take That stadium tours.
The Radiohead tour isn’t even a stadium tour, they’re playing arenas and as far as I can tell all their stage consists of is a few fairly small TV screens dotted around everywhere.
Now Radiohead are my favourite band but I’m not sure if, when the tickets go on sale tomorrow, that I could justify spending £72 when I know it definitely isn’t worth the money compared to other events that I’ve been to or that have been held recently.
