Seriously, cut it the fuck out. ADHD, no matter how commonplace, is a serious mental illness that really can disrupt a person’s life. You are not funny, you are not being cute, and I am not being too serious.
You don’t even know what it’s like to have any of those mental illnesses. You don’t understand that bipolar has various types and degrees of cycling and that those “minute to minute” mood swings are (A) extremely rare and (B) more indicative of borderline personality mood swings.
And with schizophrenia, you tend to think of the paranoid variety when, in actuality, that’s the least prolific. And it’s often confused with dissociative identity disorder.
So cut it the fuck out. You’re not helping any of us feel more secure about our illnesses since all these liberal applications of the terms only perpetuate the negative stereotypes that fuel stigmatization.

This anxiety I'll keep through another fucking day. Looks like that's all today I'm dying. My life's so pitiful. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't end it all. If there's a reason then I haven't found it yet. And I'll try every drug I find except maybe heroin and cyanide, but there's a reason I just can't afford it yet. Oh it's another overdose.
