American Express has called me every day for the past week.
I am not answering my phone, AE. You’ll get paid when I get paid. But thanks to you I now jump whenever the phone rings.

9. “You should have at least one of your own.”
I get this one a lot when people hear that we only want to adopt. Boo.
2. “But you’d have such great kids!”
I get this one a lot, always from someone who didn’t know me OR the man at my house as children. I was a straight-up handful, he was a hellion, and our child would be a maddeningly officious little creature with a stubborn, utterly senseless daredevil streak. No thanks. I’m not quite finished raising myself, the man is just barely housebroken and the dog has to remind us to eat most days. We’re never going to be zoned for babies. -

I really only have strong feelings about Morrissey.
And if you hate on him, it just brings Morrissey and I closer together. In our mutual hatred of you. And the completion of the hate circle makes us both happy. So, you know, love, hate, whatevs.

I am in the weirdest vain mood. I wasn’t ever invited to participate in the crowning events of all those dufus whining whores at school or at the prom or anywhere. SO I CREATED MY OWN FUCKING PAGEANT RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF THE PLANES TAKING OFF. And guess what. I WON. I bought an offensive pink scarf to go with my offensive pink pants. Yellow shoes, lookbookdotnu, you have been reduced to NOTHING. (the craziness has taken over)
I wish I could say I look that confident when the crazy takes over.

Ghosts, from the series Berlin
When you walk the streets of the city, you are surrounded by ghosts and vestiges of the past. The construction of the “New Berlin”–and the ultramodern design for this new capital of a reunified Germany– is intense; but ghosts are everywhere. It’s absolutely fascinating.
