Merry Christmas everyone! 

So many emotions right now. Sad, yet so happy. Is that possible? 

My family doesn’t celebrate Christmas with gifts because we believe it defeats the meaning of what Christmas is truly about; however, this year, my brother and I decided to surprise our parents with gifts! They were absolutely astonished :) As I watched them open up their gifts a few minutes ago, I couldn’t help but notice their mile-smiles :) My brother and I got my mom a Coach scarf and my dad a leather belt. [Nothing big]. My mom really wanted that Coach scarf for a few weeks now, but she decided not to get it because she knew there were more important things she needed to spend her money on. My dad was really in need of a new belt because all of his were getting old and torn. 

Seeing the looks of pure, genuine happiness on my parents’ faces brought me to tears. Nothing in this world can make me feel as warm and comfortable as seeing my parents happy. I would do anything within my power to make them feel this way forever. I can’t really describe it… I never shed tears of happiness, but this is so .. different. Goodness, I’m a freaking leaking faucet.  

On the other hand, I’m doing my best to fight back these feelings of sadness and nostalgia. This is my last Christmas in this house. I grew up here. I’ve been in this house since the second grade. This house holds so many memories, I don’t even know where to begin. Basically my entire childhood, my adolescence, bonding with family, late nights with friends, memories with past relationships, … I can go on. Even though this house may be really small, I don’t want to leave it. It’s as though I’m letting go a huge part of my past and I really don’t want that to happen any time soon. Packing is going to be bad..

But whatever. There’s nothing I can do about it now. Christmas is a time of happiness, cheer, and celebrating the birth of Jesus, so that’s what we shall focus on from here-on-out.

Every now and then its acceptable, but if you really think your life sucks that badly, go to fucking Africa or Asia and shut the fuck up PLEASE. Or go to the doctor to see if you have a chemical imbalance in your brain. Most of You just want pity on your life when its not even that bad compared to what others face.”When you throw your troubles in a bag with the problems of others, you would always take your own back”. If you are going through a struggle, turn to God and pray, try to better yourself in your situation, YOU are in control of YOUR life. By giving your life to God you have a huge weight taken off of your shoulders. No one else can control your actions. If you live your life according to Gods word then you will be blessed. Its as simple as that.
