do you have any summer book recommendations? i'm getting a little tired of people suggesting the hunger games...
(Here’s my suggestion re: the Hunger Games: DON’T READ THE THIRD ONE. Whatever you do, don’t. It’s not worth the pain and suffering. You know what, don’t even read the second one. Just quit while you’re ahead.)
Moby Dick is on my list for this summer just because. Seating Arrangements by Maggie Shipstead looks like tons of fun, Island Practice by Pam Belluck looks kind of fascinating. Pre-order The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker. Based on the cover alone, I want to read West of Here by Jonathan Evison. Read Chris Adrian’s newest book, he’s amazing. The Last Werewolf by Glen Duncan also just looks fun to read without people judging you. This looks pretty literary and this is old but I think everyone should read it especially with the apocalypse coming up.
Sorry if that was a lot, I love books, especially fun summer books that aren’t about classic political philosophy or cosmology or bibliography theory (can you tell it’s finals week).
