when people sort sherlock/john into a certain hogwarts house and then look down on people who don’t sort them “the right way” (i.e, their way)
i just wanna take their face in my hands and shake it just a little bit
because that’s your opinion, which is fine and good to have!
but just because you think sherlock’s smart so he should be a ravenclaw, doesn’t make it the “right” way, same with slytherin and manipulation, gryffindor and bravery whatever
sherlock doesn’t have an official sorting, neither does john. so you are not “right”, there is no “correct way”
wanna know why

because neither of them are actual harry potter characters and do not exist in that universe so their official sorting does not exist
so please stop making other people feel bad for seeing a different side, or enjoying sherlock/john in another house

I can’t stop thinking about Potterlock now like
- John and Sherlock at the Yule Ball
- and taking classes together
- and causing havoc around the castle
- and sharing butterbeers
- and kissing in darkened corridors
- and practicing spells on each other (sometimes with awful results that end with them both spending days in the hospital wing)
- and growing up togetherrrrrrrr
- and then John leaving early cause he’s older
- and then Sherlock dealing with not having any friends
- until John comes back and helps out at Hogwarts because he’s training to be a Healer!!!!
I have so many Potter feels that I keep bottled up most of the time because they are just SO INTENSE and now the dam is bursting uh oh
