Ode to My Followers
Last semester, there were over two hundred of you
Now I’m down below one hundred two
Some left ‘cause they thought I was lame
Others left because I didn’t post very often (I know it doesn’t rhyme, but just the same)
But to those of you who have stuck around
Or the new faces I’m seeing around Tumblrtown
You all deserve a hullaballoo
For being crazy awesome, fancy, and cool
I hope, however, this poem will do.
To my followers: I love you!

I've chosen to dedicate my life soley to God.
And I think David is gonna do it with me! He’s my accountability partner.
RUSH was amazing. We wrote down the one thing keeping us from giving everything to God.
I wrote down anorexia and self esteem, and then we threw them in a fire and watched them burn. Then we filled out a re-dedication card while Kristian Stanfill (who is a guy) sang a song that says, “We wave our white flags, we surrender.” I was crying my eyes out and I felt so ALIVE and grateful and it truly was a spiritual moment for me, and Liz was right beside. We held hands as we closed our eyes and worshiped and sang the songs. Then we rocked out to Toby Mac. AND CLIFFORD AND JERAH WERE THERE!!!!!!!!!!WHO IS EPIC!!!!!!! The first, white, Christian, rapper. Lol.
He did some of his DC Talk stuff, too. It was just too incredible of a night.
And to top it all off, David supports it and wants to do it with me.Then this morning we talked about RUSH in Sunday School and graduation tonight for True Love Waits was amazing and Pastor Dale preached his sermon to us. And EVERYONE in the church came and gave us hugs telling us how proud they were and how much they love us. I love my necklace, it’s beautiful. And I’m definitely not taking it off until my wedding night.
Just like I’m supposed to.
I’m supposed to be pure, and exhault Jesus. And that’s what I’m gonna do. And I want my friends to hold me accountable and call me out when I go against my Christian commitment.
‘Mkay. I’m done. Lol. But I expect my followers to see a change in my posts. Just a warning.

I loved Charlieissocoollike’s recent video Don’t Break the Chain, so I designed a monthly calendar for the rest of the year so we can all keep track of our goals too, starting today, May 1st.
You can download the PDF right here. In the photos above, it’s printed at 7.5”x7.5” on cardstock, though of course you’re free to print it at whatever size works best for you.
I only designed it in black and white, so feel free to draw all over it, and try drawing the X’s in a colored pattern for extra motivation. Enjoy!

Midnight adventures
One day, I want to slowly wake up to the sound of soft tapping. It’ll find its way into my dreams, but its persistence will wake me, and in my newfound consciousness I’ll realize that the sounds were knocks, on a window resting just above my bed. There will be somebody I love with an adventure that I will never forget waiting just outside, in the pure frost-bitten air of midnight dreams come alive.
