Media outlets are freaking out about digital piracy. What are the owners of tangible-product patents going to do when people can make their own merch? Who will own the printer companies? Who will sell the magic dust that makes the print? Who will service my copier? Will I be able to get the schematics for Faye Dunaway’s zygomatic bones? And why shouldn’t Faye get a piece of the pie? It’s her likeness. Maybe I’ll only be able to afford an off-brand. If you liked Dunaway’s cheekbones, you’ll love Designer Imposter’s Donawho™ Cheekbones…
I’m interested to see how this Future business plays out.
