I know that in this picture I look extremely content and even then I was not completely happy with who I was and how I looked. I still have a few issues but it is nowhere near as extreme as it used to be. I dug deep down in myself and found the source of my insecurities. Learn to love you for who you are, who God blessed you to be. You are beautiful, regardless of if you believe it or not now. You will eventually. I promise. I began to stop being just by myself and surrounded myself with positive people who added the rungs to the ladder I call “Self Esteem” and even until this day, myself and others are adding to that ladder. Stop comparing yourself to others. We are made differently, yes…but different never means ugly. I had to learn that. I never fit in with others but why would you want to? You have a light on your life and you should want yours to shine bright!! And know that there are many who feel the same way that you feel and I know that if I can climb out of my depression and low self-esteem, that you can do it too. Remember: YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL IN YOUR OWN WAY! No one can take your own personal beauty away from you.
