A few years ago, Questlove of The Roots released a series of celebrity stories detailing his encounters with fellow musicians, athletes and other famous people. The entire collection of his stories can be found here.

Below is his recollection of Donovan McNabb, interesting to re-read as it seems to hint at the bounty system in the NFL that’s making all the headlines these days.

Makes you wonder who else looked the other way about something that seemed to be very public knowledge:
