    I told all 5 Star Trek captains today about how I lost my kidneys and now people who I play STO with from all over the world are offering me theirs. I thanked them for allowing Trek to get so huge to the point that it connects people worldwide. An that because of all that, Star Trek has given me hope for a longer and better life with a new kidney. They all clapped for me and wished me luck, especially Janeway and Archer. Then they thanked fans like me for stories like that.

    Aaaaand the Great Glorificus from Buffy also wished me kidney luck!

    It was so hard not I burst into tears.

    • (I work in a Coffee Shop. I was on break in the lobby when a couple walks in. Directly behind them is a cute little boy in Batman costume.)
    • Me: “Oh my God! It’s BATMAN!”
    • (The boy stops, strikes a pose and starts looking around menacingly. After a few seconds, he approaches the counter.)
    • Mother: “Jeff, would you like a chocolate milk?”
    • Boy: “I am not Jeff. I am The Batman.”
    • Mother: “The Batman, would you like a chocolate milk?”
    • Boy: “Yes. Yes, The Batman would.”
    • (The couple pays while the boy sits down with his chocolate milk. He keeps a stern look on his face as he sips the drink.)
    • Boy: *sips* “Gotham is safe.”

    30 Days of Gaming

    Day 1 – Very first video game.

    It was either Titanic Adventure out of Time or Pokemon Pinball.  I got Titanic when I was in 3rd grade (the year the movie came out), but I don’t remember when I got pinball.

    Damn that Titanic game was EXCELLENT.
