Google Goggles Dry-run
I just took a photograph of a bottle of Pepsi using Google Goggles and it identified:
- the logo as Pepsi (and showed the original logo)
- the barcode
- a small QR code I hadn’t noticed (which it analysed and correctly found the site for)
- all the text on the bottle
- a similiar image it found on the web
Holy hell, you guys. How far off is face recognition, given that it can already just find similiar photos?
