Russ 2012
Sorry for being MIA. I wasn’t able to update because 1) I was busy with school work, 2) I’m enjoying my life as a Russ, and 3) my brother is currently abroad and brought his camera (that I am using) with him. But I got to borrow my bff’s Nikon D90 which is awesome. The quality is so good I could cry. ;A;
Anyway, as mentioned I’m currently a Russ. It’s sort of a tradition where we celebrate the near end of our 13 years of school. It’s a period of breaking rules, pushing limits and wild, non-stop partying. Ironically, we have our exams right after our National Day which is on May 17. If you want more information, Google is your friend. :3
This is the Norwegian version of a cap and gown (well, not really), except we have to use it for about a month, without washing it or anything. I know, not very hygienic but you don’t want to go around with half a pants. And I don’t mean shorts.

I was in Landstreff Lillehammer this weekend and had a blast! It’s a festival where russ from the whole country come and party. It involves VERY loud music, hours of dancing and well, lots of alcohol. SO. MUCH. FUN!
These are called russekort, roughly translated “russ card”. Little kids collect them, the russ exchanges them. Mine looks like this. It says “without ME it’s just AWESO” :3
More than two weeks left being a russ and then I’ll be having exams. Can’t wait to get it over with (school, that is) and say hello to summer and moving and out college!

I got back from Germany today. Here are some pictures I took during the two-day cruise trip.

It looked like a luxurious hotel! Too bad I wasn’t feeling well so I didn’t get to take a good look around.
In Kiel. We were only on land for four hours and the weather was terrible, so that left us going shopping. Unfortunately for me, I went back on ship as good (or bad for that matter) as empty-handed.
