Tiny Capital by Eirik Evjen
Oslo’s coming up in the world! Norway’s population has grown to 5 million, and its largest city is growing fast. Made up of nearly 80,000 pictures, this time lapse of the country’s relatively tiny capital (compared to other capital cities) captures a day in the life of this thriving Scandinavian metropolis.
The end of the world.
The Romans called this place the Promontorium Sacrum - the Holy Promontory. They considered it a magical place where the sunset was much larger than anywhere else. They believed the sun sank here hissing into the ocean, marking the edge of their world.
