~~ Gemma’s Point Of View ~~
I wasn’t busy today, so I figured I’d go dress hunting without the others, they were all busy. I walked into a small dress store and the first thing I spotted was a cream coloured dress with an almost yellow bust. There were small circular beads shimmering from the bottom hemline; the glittering golden belt gave it shape. My eyes were fixed upon it and I walked straight for it, looking for my size. I was glad to find my size almost immediately and even the price was reasonable.

people often ask me why i like short stack so much. why i’m obsessed with ‘three fags who can’t play music’. yeah most fans would say ‘they’re hot’ or ‘i like their music..’ but really neither of those are my answers. yeah sure i think they’re hot and i really like their music, but it’s so much more than that. it’s more the fact that they work extremely hard and their lyrics come from the heart.
i listen to real music. not the stuff on the radio, (computer music as i call it), but the stuff with real meaning. It takes maybe a course to learn how to press buttons on a computer, whereas it takes a lifetime to dedicate yourself to learning how to play an instrument (trust me, i know.) i listen to a day to remember, all time low, mayday parade, the veronicas, paramore, tonight alive, etc etc etc. i dont give a shit if people think i’m emo, a loser or any other name they call me for liking that music. those artists speak to me through lyrics in a way i can’t even describe and have literally helping me come out of hard times in my life.
i know some fans have been complaining that short stack arent really short stack anymore, and that they’re maturing, and that it’s more ‘Shaun Diviney and those other two guys…’. In my opinion, i think it’s great that they’re maturing in their sound and look in general. but i miss the old short stack. the guys with the eyeliner, skinny jeans and teased-hairsprayed hair. i don’t like how they’re chopping off their hair, hardly posting on sstv, and wearing tuxes instead of leather jackets and jeans.
i will support them no matter what they do and whatever path they take in their career. as long as they keep playing, i will keep being a fan <3
