Jason Richwine, who joined the Heritage Foundation in 2012 as a senior policy analyst after receiving his doctorate in public policy from Harvard University in 2009, focused his dissertation, “I.Q. and Immigration Policy,” on his view that the lower intelligence of immigrants should be considered when drafting immigration policy. The scientific racism that oozes from his dissertation is so bad, even the consistently racist Heritage Foundation publicly disassociated itself from the work but apparently advocating for eugenics isn’t quite bad enough to cut a vicious bigot loose from the organization.

I’m all kinds of angry. I don’t forget these things when other folks try to invalidate the importance of social justice. This racist thought is the seed from which legislation is supposed to sprout from, which could affect the lives of my loved ones.
