Many people have great plans but they take way too long to put them into action, says Kiva cofounder Jessica Jackley (MBA ’07). Entrepreneurs need to just jump in and get started. http://stnfd.biz/lgAx8

House Votes to Fast Track Keystone XL Tar Sands Pipeline“Apparently, Big Oil knows it takes $200,000 to buy a vote in the House of Representatives. This may be small change for Big Oil, but our democracy is paying a huge price. Americans are fed up with this corrupt ‘votes for dollars’ system, and we demand better.”

DAY 2:
After One Arrest, Sit In Continues Demanding Moratorium on Fracking“Here’s what we’ve learned in New York: Regulations cannot prevent well casings from leaking as they age and fail. Or keep methane from migrating through underground faults. Or eliminate the 24/7 noise pollution from drilling. Regulations cannot keep benzene from rising out of boreholes. There is no good storage solution for radioactive wastewater. And the jobs fracking provides are temporary and toxic.”

LIFE IS GOOD!
These days I’m getting a gallon a day of milk from my two goats.- With two gallons of milk I can make pound of cottage cheese per week
- From seven gallons of milk I can skim enough cream per week for a pound of butter
- Fresh eggs; about 4 dozen per week.
SO GOOD!
Goats have got to be one of my favorite barn buddies, with chickens a close second!
