Dating can be brutal.

sometimes, you go out with a dude who gets so drunk you walk yourself home at the end of the night.

sometimes, you date a guy because you’re lonely and it only makes you feel lonelier.
sometimes, you meet a guy in penn station and it seems too romantic to be true but later it turns out he is actually a crazy person.
sometimes, you think you’re in love with your friend but really you’re not and in the end things are awkward and ruined forever.
sometimes, you go on a date with a perfectly nice boy but for some reason everything about him makes you want to punch him right in the face.
sometimes, you are the destroyed and sometimes you are the destroyer, and you keep trying because the magic of something new dulls away any old scars, and all of these memories become precious.
