I could watch a whole movie of this.
I’ve often wondered why there’s been no real big budget modern adaptation of Journey To The West for film. There’s been occasional little things and vague references and stage plays, but aside from a rumor about Neil Gaiman working on a script in ‘11, I haven’t really heard anything. Which is strange, because it seems like such a no-brainer?? Especially for an animated movie?
Basically I would be 100% all damn for Jamie Hewlett With A Budget doing a big 2D extravaganza of it, get on it world
