I made this for Blake Whitman’s “5 Vignettes” project, from a total of about four minutes of footage I took a couple of weeks back and would probably never have done anything with otherwise.
If anyone reading has experience with motion tracking in Final Cut Express I’d be interested in a recommendation for appropriate tools. Upgrading to FCP Studio isn’t really on the cards, so what are my options (aside from the altogether unconvincing, hand-keyframed work here)? Is Mocha any good?

Production artwork from Spaces of Play’s forthcoming iPhone game Spirits. Team member Andreas Zecher:
The game [borrows] some basic gameplay mechanics from Lemmings-style games, but has a very different graphical style and atmosphere. Players can manipulate the wind in the game world and guide the spirits towards the exit of each level using four different actions: Blow wind, suck in wind, dig tunnels and build bridges.

Adobe CS5 - Production Premium
It appears we’ve now come back full circle with the handmade stylish trend being replicated with VFX in this great spot by Seagulls Fly to promote Adobe CS5. Seagulls Fly also put together a “making of” that shows the process of putting together the spot.
