Yes, i’m 21 and still a virgin. This used to be a secret, but everyone kept asking me as though it was their business and i figured it isn’t anything to be ashamed of. Although most people my age have already been there, and many may think i’m crazy for my stance, but.. that’s ok. I know we’re all different, and if you can’t respect that, well. For a long time i’ve been thinking about breaking my fast, thinking may be i was the only one out here and i was being reasonable… I’ve realized that the more that we the V-Team know that there are more of us out there, the easier it is to hold firm in our beliefs, so i’ve decided to speak. Here’s my theory:

marriage is something that shouldn’t be taken lightly. its a symbol of love, of two becoming one. that one, because its a whole isn’t meant to be split apart. especially since true love (i’m a believer) lasts forever.. mostly because it’s not something that you easily come by, it’s something that requires a lot of work.. if you marry the wrong person, you wouldn’t get that feeling. :/

sex doesn’t come before that person, because, sex is like the physical act which symbolizes two becoming one… if you get what i’m saying. it isn’t only a physical bond, but there’s an emotional bond as well… which is why it is important that it’s shared with that one person that you TRULY love… because you have become one, and aren’t meant to become spilt apart. 

sex… with it sometimes comes pregnancy. to me.. conception is not something that you should be afraid of, because just like all these things, it’s a SYMBOL OF LOVE. do you know the feeling that comes with having a baby? which is why babies are born out of the act of that physical manifestation of your love for someone. it’s like, i love you so much, i want to spend the rest of my life with you and we will create something together that is so beautiful and can be a reminder of the love that we share.

i hope that you get where i’m going with this. 

imo, if things worked this way, we probably wouldn’t have AIDS going around, because we would all be faithful to that one person who we love and who we put in the work for, who, although it might be difficult at times and they may be a pain in the neck, we will do anything that they ask, and will make selfless decisions for them. I think that it’s important to not rush into things and to love with your whole heart, and be sure that this person who you share EVERYTHING with is worth having your mind, your body, and your heart. 

there are probably a bunch of people who think that i’m being naive.. but i take a lot of things into account. we don’t know our own strength, and we don’t realize that we can fight the devils inside us, but it’s up to us to want to do that. Will power, we all know we have it, but we sometimes just are too lazy to keep up the fight but it’s for these reasons why I will wait. 

and that guy that loves me, will be willing to wait because there’s so much more to love than just that physical manifestation.
