    Not only did I get a random bonus. 

    I got paid out the full bonus for this quarter. 

    AND I JUST FOUND OUT I GOT A RAISE.

    I saw Battleship today.  I heard it wasn’t good and I was hesitant to see it.  But it was showing at the best time for my friend Antoine and me, so we saw it.  And it turned out to be quite good.  It was a little show at first, but picked up nicely, and had a nice little ending.  I wouldn’t say it was great, but was very good and still very enjoyable.

    I also saw the previews for the new The Amazing Spider-man, and I am quite excited.  The new spiderman (Andrew Garfield) is not buffed, but slim and toned! I guess I like the new twink-Spidey! ^^

    Thanks everyone who wished me happy birthday yesterday. I’m officially in my 20s. It just hit me that I am still a young guy. It’s okay to be ambitious. It’s okay to make mistakes. It’s okay to try new things. I should just go for “it” whatever “it” is. I am not aware of how much good can come out from my potential. And so from here on out, I shall work on keeping a positive mindset, feeling beautiful and healthy inside out, and spreading love and joy to others.

    The journey for personal truth is kind of like learning photography. By going it alone and not seeing the works of others, we develop a style that’s a lot like Instagram photos – pretty to look at, but lacking in substance. Conversely, by consulting only textbooks or others without mediating that knowledge through ourselves, we develop a style that could be equated to stock photos – they have form, but no art. Therefore, the pinnacle of personal philosophy, as near as anyone can come to it, must be between these two extremes – a synthesis of form and art which can neither be entirely extracted from ourselves nor learned from others.
