Drafts
What are drafts?
Drafts are posts that you aren’t ready to publish yet.
How do I create a draft?
- When creating a new post, change the menu on the right from “publish now” to “save as draft.”
- Click “Save draft.”
How do I access my saved drafts?
- Click the blog’s title at the top of your Dashboard or under the list icon at the top.
- Click “Drafts” on the right side of the screen.
Private Posts
How do I make posts private?
- When creating a new post, change the menu on the right from “publish now” to “private.”
- Click “Create post.”
Keep in mind the following:
- The post will not be published to your blog, and you’re the only one who can see it.
- Private posts on additional blogs can be seen by other Admins or Members.
How do I access my private posts?
- Click the blog’s title at the top of your Dashboard or under the list icon.
- Scroll through your Dashboard until you find the post.
Scheduled Posts
How do I schedule a post to be published at a later time?
- When creating a new post, change the menu on the right from “publish now” to “publish on.”
- In the “now” field below, enter the time you’d like to publish the post.
- You can use relative date and time (e.g. “next Tuesday, 10am”)
- You can use absolute date and times (e.g. “mm/dd/yy 12:34am” or “mm/dd/yyyy 12:34 a.m.”)
How do I access my scheduled posts?
- Click the blog’s title at the top of your Dashboard or under the list icon.
- Click “Queue” on the right side of the screen.
Backdating Posts
Can I backdate or set a custom date for posts?
Sure. That affects the post’s order on your blog, but not on your Dashboard.
How do I backdate posts?
- Go to an existing post and click “edit.”
- Change the menu on the right side from “publish now” to “publish on.”
- Edit the date or time to something in the past.
- Click “Save changes.”
Queue
What is the Queue?
It helps keep your blog active by staggering posts over a period of hours or days.
How do I add posts to my Queue?
- When creating a new post, change the menu on the right from “publish now” to “add to queue.”
- Click “Queue post.”
How do I access my queued posts?
- Click the blog’s title at the top of your Dashboard or under the list icon.
- Click “Queue” on the right side of the screen.
How many posts can I have published automatically from my Queue?
You can use the queue to publish at least one post every day.
Can I pause the Queue?
No, so make sure the posts are ready to be published before adding them to the Queue.
How many posts can I store in the queue?
You can store 300 posts at a time. If you want to add more than that, we recommend saving posts as Drafts and moving them into your Queue as needed.
Time zones
How do I change my Time zone?
- Click the blog’s title at the top of your Dashboard or under the list icon.
- Click “Blog Settings” on the right side of the screen.
- Go to the Time zone section and make your update in the dropdown menu.
- Hit “Save.”
What happens to my posts if I change my time zone?
Time zone changes will not affect published posts, only posts published or edited after the change.
