Blocking
When you block a tumblelog...
- You won't see any of their posts, notes, or notifications, in your Dashboard.
- They are not notified that you blocked them, but may be able to figure it out if they see their reblogs missing from your post notes (see Post Notes below).
- They will be automatically unfollowed if you were following them.
- They will still be able to see and reblog your posts and other public content.
Following someone that you previously blocked will automatically unblock them. You can also manage your blocked tumblelogs on the Block page.
Post Notes
When viewing a post’s notes, either on the Dashboard or blog, blocks are applied:
- An original post: The post author’s blocks.
- A reblog: The original post author’s blocks and the reblogging author’s blocks.
- Original and reblog posts viewed in your Dashboard: The original and reblogging author's blocks, plus your own.
